The victim, who is visibly Jewish, was sitting at the side of a road in Salford when a passing motorist shouted antisemitic abuse at him. The perpetrator said to the victim “are you Jewish” to which the victim replied “Yes, have I done anything wrong”. The perpetrator replied with “because you’re a fucking Jew”. The victim then took out his camera phone and started to film the incident. The perpetrator became more aggressive and started pushing the victim saying “What you gonna do about it, you Jew”.
