The reporter was visiting an old disused Jewish cemetery when he had a conversation with workman who wsa on the premises. The workman was preparing to build a new synagogue on the location as part of a re-development process. The workman told the reporter that he had been advising all of his friends to protest against the building as they didn’t want “all those people from Stamford Hill (orthodox Jewish area) coming down”.
