USA – Brick thrown into classroom window, Yeshiva student injured

A large brick was lobbed into a first-floor classroom, striking a student in the head. The Bochur sustained deep cuts and lacerations to his head, requiring multiple stitches to control the bleeding.

The incident happened at Chovevei Torah on Eastern Parkway and Albany Avenue. A group of three Black teens walked from the back of the school building, brick in hand and threw the brick through a low window at the student, who was sitting a mere 3 feet from the window.
Shomrim members arrived on the scene moments later and alerted Hatzalah and police. Shomrim then got descriptions of the assailants, who were described to be Black, around 14 to 16 years of age, and wearing sweatshirts; but could not find them. Police reports were filed.
