A new wave of antisemitism on the web: tens of thousands of users are exposed to claims according to, Joseph Fritzel, who has committed horrific and monstrous acts, is a Jew. According to the claims heard in the web, the Austrians concealed Fritzel’s Jewish identity. The claims are based upon one main “proof”: a film, taken from inside Fritzel’s home: upon the walls, are hanged some pictures with the symbol of the Star of David. Clips in the website invest much efforts to prove how the television news attempt to hide the Star of David symbols. The claim heard is that “the Jews control the media and therefore, they attempt to hide Fritzel’s Jewish identity.”
