Chief Rabbi predicts a big rise in antisemitism

The UK faces a “virulent new strain” of antisemitism, with the number of attacks against British Jews on the rise, the Chief Rabbi said.

 

Speaking to a national newspaper, Sir Jonathan Sacks discusses his new book, Future Tense, in which he warns of the emergence of an “international” antisemitism that is being fuelled by the internet.

 

His comments come after 250 antisemitic incidents were recorded in Britain in January – the highest yet
