The victim arranged for a British Gas engineer to come to his house in
Cheadle
for an annual maintenance inspection on his central heating. The engineer started a conversation with the victim asking him if he thought “people of his faith have too much power and influence in the world” and “why that was”? The victim attempted to correct the engineer not wanting to get into an argument. The engineer proceeded to make other derogatory comments about the Holocaust, until he asked him to leave.
