The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile strongly rejects the statements of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, made on the campus of Tehran University, which he called the Holocaust “a myth based on a lie and impossible to prove.”
The Holocaust was the greatest collective tragedy of the twentieth century and cannot belie or deny a reality that is hitting our feelings and mourning for all humanity.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to express its deep commitment to continue working effectively in a world where dialogue reigns, tolerance, inclusiveness and the fullest respect for human rights.
