USA – Swastikas painted on synagogue in New Jersey

Someone spray-painted swastikas on the windows of Congregation Beth El, a synagogue in Edison NJ, right after members celebrated Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar.

Rabbi Bernhard Rosenberg, leader of Congregation Beth-el, says it is clearly a hate crime and speculated that it may have been inspired by the recent visit of Iranian president Ahmedinejad.

He also said that it may have been linked to another incident 10 days ago when a Jewish man was attacked in Edison.
