Germany, Italy and Canada have started their own versions of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Antisemitism, which is led by Bassetlaw Labour MP John Mann.

Talks are also ongoing between the London-based Inter-Parliamentary Coalition Combating Antisemitism (ICCA) and parliamentarians in Austria and South Africa.

ICCA chief executive Elliot Conway said: “We are using the model of what has worked well in Britain and has become recognizedzed as the best way to engage governments and civil society on how to combat antisemitism. This is especially important following the backlash over Israel’s action in Gaza, the rise of the extreme right and problems on campuses, especially in Europe and north America.”
