A neo-Nazi attacked a young Jewish man in Moscow.
The 25 year old victim was traveling in the metro when he was approached by a man who asked him what his ethnicity is. The assailant then yelled out “Heil!” and started to beat the victim after asking him if he was a Jew and threatening to kill him.
Police detained alleged assailant, but only charged him with “minor hooliganism” and then set him free. The victim reported the attack to police, but it is not clear if they are going to take any follow up action against the antisemitic assailant, or if he will be charged with a hate crime.
