A disturbing increase in the detailed incidents CICAD, (an organization fighting Antsemitism in Switzerland) has published its 6th Annual Report on the state of antisemitism in Switzerland
During the presentation, the CICAD voiced its concern about the number of antisemitic acts that had been recorded.
A total of 153 incidents were recorded during 2009, an increase of 59% as compared with 2008 (when 96 antisemitic incidents were recorded).
The number of violent incidents (4 in 2008 and 2009) remained stable. Other serious incidents increased from 10 in 20089 to 22 in 2009.
