Norway – Culture Minister considers blocking Egyptian TV channel

Al-Rahma has already been banned by the French Media Authority after televising a speech by an Egyptian cleric on 31 October last year.

Her decision will need to be backed up by a court ruling, and she’s now asked for help.

“In my opinion, it’s antisemitism. I’m going to ask the Norwegian Media Authority (Medietilsynet) to investigate if signals from this channel are transmitted here,” she says.
