Jewish man menaced and harassed in Crown Heights

Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY – A Jewish man was menaced and harassed in hate driven incident Friday afternoon while walking in Crown Heights. The incident victim flagged a nearby police vehicle who arrested the assailant.

Around 4:30pm Friday afternoon a Jewish man was approached by a Intoxicated black male while walking Brookyln Ave near Union Street. The man yelling anti semitic expletivs several times, and then attempted to lunge his body into the Jewish man, missing him.

The victim flagged down an NYPD patrol car and told the officers what happened.

The officers found the intoxicated man walking down Brooklyn Ave, and place him under arrest for aggravated harassment and menacing.

Hate crimes task force will be investigating the incident.
