A man wearing a yarmulke was subjected to antisemitic insults

Nikolassee, Berlin – insults in Hebrew were shouted at a 19-year-old young man wearing a yarmulke on Saturday night in the train in Nikolassee around 8:00 PM. In addition, the unknown assailant threw a stone at the young man, but missed him.

The attacker escaped before the police arrived. The Police Department for the Protection of the Constitution, which is part of the National Bureau of Criminal Investigations, conducts the investigations for suspected serious physical injury and antisemitic insult. According to the police, the attacker had a Mediterranean appearance. No further details were available on Monday.
