Basel – During the night on Saturday, a window of a Basel synagogue was damaged. The Orthodox Jewish movement Chabad Lubawitsch is Located in Ahornstrasse.

When members of the Orthodox Jewish movement Chabad Lubavitch wanted to pray in their synagogue on Saturday morning, they made a frightening discovery. A window of the Jewish temple had been demolished overnight. Rabbi Zalmen Wishedski of Chabad Lubavitch informed about the incident in a statement on Saturday evening.

The window looked as if it had been worked with a strong hammer. However, it withstood the attack. Wishedski is very concerned in the message and assumes an antisemitic attack. Also, because no windows were damaged in the rest of the street.
