Kyiv – A man was detained who defecated on the Independence Square during Hanukkah, established as a sign of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. This was reported by the Kyiv police.
“During the monitoring of social networks, law enforcement officers discovered a video where a man desecrated a monument temporarily erected to celebrate the Jewish holiday Hanukkah on Maidan Nezalezhnosti Square,” the message reads.
Employees of the Shevchenkiv police department, in cooperation with criminal analysis analysts, identified and detained the violator. He turned out to be a resident of Kyiv region.
