Wiesbaden – Unknown people have defaced a memorial for murdered Jews in Wiesbaden. They sprayed anti-Jewish symbols with bright red paint on the Michelsberg memorial, a police spokesman said on Saturday.

A stonemason has already removed most of the paint. The crime is said to have happened between Thursday evening and Friday morning. The Commissariat for State Security Affairs has taken over the investigation.
