Mount Pleasant, SC – The Mount Pleasant Police Department (MPPD) is investigating anti-Semitic flyers that were distributed in the area of Charleston National Golf Club the evening of Sep. 25.
Mount Pleasant Will Haynie issued a statement on social media the following day.
“There is no place for hate in our community,” Haynie said in his statement. “To whoever distributed the vulgar, anti-Semitic flyers overnight (at the time of Yom Kippur, no less) in our community, you failed. We are responding with love and concern for those you targeted and with disgust for your kind of hatred.”
