Argentina – More than 200 publications linked to Nazism and several printers were seized in San Isidro

More than 200 publications and covers of books linked to the Nazis and several printers that reproduced the materials for their dissemination and sale were seized during a raid on a house in the Buenos Aires district of San Isidro.

The owner, Pablo Giorgetti who distributed the materials through a site called Librería-Argentina, was brought to justice, reported today in a press conference by the head of the Argentine Federal Police (PFA), Juan Carlos Hernández.

“We are surprised with the amount of material, it is a true printing press for the dissemination and sale of sombology, books and Nazi indoctrination,” said Hernández, who specified that the investigation began in 2021 due to a complaint from the Delegation of Argentine Israeli Associations (DAIA) which was received by the PFA Terrorist Investigations Unit.

Carlos Villagra, head of the Anti-Terrorist Unit of the PFA, explained that this department began the investigation after receiving a complaint about a website that spread antisemitic content and Nazi publications, which were sold through Mercado Libre, for which it intervened. “The investigations lasted almost two years; initially there was a user number, but it was possible to enter the name and surname, document and reach the address of the person where the material was printed,” said Villagra at the headquarters of the Police Corps. the Mounted Police, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo.

“The mere display of this type of symbology constitutes a violation of Law 23,592 (against discriminatory acts) since it justifies, vindicates and even venerates the atrocities committed by the Nazi national socialist regime against the Jewish community,” the text added.
