Paris – The President of the National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet (Renaissance), announced this Monday that she would file a complaint after a new antisemitic letter was sent to her office.
“The crows are also making their comeback… Always alert. File a complaint, systematically. To never let anything go, ever! », she wrote on the social network, in a message accompanied by a photo showing a letter addressed to her office in Vésinet (Yvelines), on which a yellow star appears.
This is not the first time that the President of the National embly has been the target of antisemitic mail. In April, she had shared on social networks the content of a letter of insults, calling her in particular a “yip”. She had already announced that she was filing a complaint. An investigation was also opened by the Paris prosecutor’s office in 2021 following a similar email which had been sent to him.
