Cincinnati, OH – White supremacist flyers placed on car windshields is the latest in a series of antisemitic incidents around the area.
On Thursday, an unknown woman was seen placing the flyers on cars in WLWT’s parking lot. The flyers contained swastikas and hateful messaging about Jewish people on them.
The woman left WLWT’s property when she was spotted distributing the material.
This incident is the most recent in a string of similar incidents in the Greater Cincinnati area.
The most recent incident happened in July in Clifton, with people finding KKK recruitment flyers.
“Look, when people get a flyer like this, the feeling that they generally have is that they’ve been violated,” Rabbi Ari Jun, director of Cincinnati Jewish Community Relations Council said. “They suddenly are forced to reckon with the fact that there are hateful people that do live in our backyard.”
Jun also said that incidents like these serve as a reminder that antisemitism has increased year after year.
“I have just become so accustomed to it and that’s a sad thing to say,” Jun said.
