Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY – 2 separate criminal incidents in Crown Heights were reported to the Shmira neighborhood patrol on Tuesday afternoon, 1 hour apart from each other.
The first incident occurred near Montgomery Street and Schenectady Avenue at approximately 1:00 pm when a group of black teenagers approached a visibly Jewish man and shoved him. They immediately fled and the victim was not injured.
The 2nd incident occurred at approximately 2:15 pm near Empire Blvd and Troy Avenue when a group of black teenagers approached a visibly Jewish man and attempted to rob him of his phone.
Shmira told COLlive they suspect that the attackers were the same or related to the group which has been terrorizing Jewish residents in recent days.
