Darbėnai – Monument to the victims of the Holocaust in Darbėnai was desecrated. A worker who was walking around the White Mountain forest noticed the desecration and report the authorities. The police were soon informed of the incident.

Place and grave of the massacre in 2005 were recognized as a state-protected cultural heritage site of historical and memorial value. Now a lonely stone is left at the site of the massacre, a broken stone slab, shards of vodka bottles and a Hitler swastika carved in stone.
