UK lawmaker calls to suspend fellow Labour parliamentarian in antisemitic row
London – In the UK, another scandal at the Labour party: a senior Labour lawmaker is calling for the suspension of another Member of Parliament, while an investigation into allegations of antisemitism takes place.
Dame Louise Ellman says Lisa Forbes should be suspended, after it emerged Forbes had liked a Facebook post that said British Prime Minister Theresa May had a “Zionist Slave Masters agenda.”

Forbes also commented on a post that repeated the conspiracy theory that the Mossad and CIA are behind the Islamic State terror group, writing, “I have enjoyed reading this thread so much.”
The Jewish Labour Movement also called for Forbes to be suspended.
Forbes has said it was a misunderstanding and apologized. The incident is just the latest scandal to rock Labour, which has been dogged by allegations of antisemitism in recent months.
