The Cabinet wants to set a clear policy against antisemitism
The Bavarian Cabinet starts consultations today on measures in order to prevent and combat antisemitism. The president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, Joseph Schuster, and the president of the Jewish community in Munich and Bavaria, Charlotte Knobloch were invited to the meeting. Prime Minister Marcus Soder (CSU) emphasized that the government wants to publish a clear message against the far right and the antisemitic extremism. It is inconceivable that Jewish citizens feel insecure in some German cities. The program will include presentations in schools where children will receive explanations.
