Pro-BDS stickers found on Passover items at Toronto supermarket
Toronto – A customer at the No Frills at Centerpoint Mall near Yonge and Steeles in Toronto noticed stickers promoting the BDS movement placed over the prices of kosher-for-Passover Israeli products. When the store was alerted, it apologized for the stickers and removed them.
“We are saddened to see another act of anti-Israel hatred targeting members of Canada’s Jewish community,” wrote Daniel Koren, who works in media and communications for B’nai Brith Canada. “We will not be intimidated, and we will continue to celebrate our holidays and observe our traditions, just as we will continue to support the Jewish State of Israel.”
