Police have arrested and charged a man they say is responsible for drawing antisemitic messages across Miami Beach.

Officers arrested 45-year-old Sean Kenna and charged him with seven counts of criminal mischief, six of them associated with drawing swastikas in various locations throughout the city as well as allegedly writing hateful messages directed at the Jewish community, Miami Beach Police officials said Wednesday.

An arrest report says that between Feb. 9 and March 19, Kenna spray-painted a swastika on the front gate of a home in Miami Beach, scrawled the word “death” on a blue U.S. Postal Service mailbox and wrote “kill the Jews” and drew a swastika on a sign.

Kenna’s arrest report says he is homeless. A lawyer isn’t listed on jail records.

Kenna was being held on $135,000 bond after his first hearing before a judge and ordered to stay away from certain areas of Miami Beach.
