Antisemitic attack on students in Frankfurt
Frankfurt – Police are looking for a man who has insulted and bullied students on the light railway in Schwanheim, apparently motivated by antisemitism.
Nine students from one classroom, one of whom is a Jewish boy, took the 12th light rail line to Schwanheim on their way to a funeral. Around 11:00, the students were verbally assaulted by a passenger they were not familiar with, who also made hostile antisemitic statements. Finally, the assailant also tried to grab one of the students by his face and beat him, but failed because of the speed of the latter’s reaction. At the Hartweg light railway station, the offender left the place and fled.
Police are looking for an assailant, who is described as having a North African appearance.
