A 19-year old vandalized bouquets of flowers at the Holocaust memorial site
Hanover – Antisemitic Incident at the Holocaust Memorial Site at the Opera Square: Police are conducting a criminal investigation against a 19-year-old man on suspicion of public incitement.
On Friday evening, he reportedly and deliberately broke apart, tossed around and stamped on bouquets of flowers laid fresh at the Holocaust memorial site, and made antisemitic remarks to passers-by. On Tuesday evening, police forces were summoned to the memorial site in the aftermath of the incident, around 20:15. This was confirmed by a police spokesman.
