Swastika, antisemitic words painted on Jewish family’s Las Vegas home
Las Vegas, NV – Police investigated an antisemitic act of vandalism. The incident Monday happened at a Jewish family’s apartment door near S. Decatur Boulevard and W. Sahara Avenue.
Sara Attia and her family believe they were targeted because of their religious beliefs.
Attia said she noticed the graffiti Monday morning as she walked to grab something from her car. A swastika and the words “Hell Hitler” were spray painted on her door. The statement was incorrectly quoted because it said “Hell Hitler” instead of “Heil Hitler.”
Attia’s door has been repainted, and Metro Police are working on identifying the person or persons responsible.
