Group of youngsters hurling in metal to synagouge Shabbos afternoon
Brooklyn, NY – A group of young vandals tossed a metal pipe through a window at a Brooklyn synagogue, police said.
The suspects broke a window at the Volkan shul on Franklin Ave. near Myrtle Ave. in Williamsburg at about 5:40 p.m. Saturday, cops said.
Surveillance video posted on Twitter by Williamsburg News shows a group of seven teens walking up to the building.
Four of them look over a gate and into a window. One member of the group, wearing a black hoodie and a backpack, lifts the pipe, but hesitates before pitching it.
The youngster hands it to a second suspect who is dressed in an orange shirt and light pants. That youngster tossed the pipe through the window. The group then runs off.
