Antisemitic flyers discovered at Castleton University library

Source: mynbc5

Castleton, VT – Flyers with Confederate imagery and other provocative symbols were found inside the Calvin Coolidge Library at Castleton University on Thursday.

The flyers were designed after Confederate currency and had images of the Confederate flag, the Star of David and several Bible verses.

The flyers were found tucked between stacks of books.

In an email to the student body, the university’s president called the flyers “antisemitic.”

It is unclear who put the flyers in the library, but a university spokesperson said he believed it was likely not a student.

The Calvin Coolidge Library is open to the public.
