Metz – a former Nazi camp was desecrated  by antisemitic graffiti.

Anti-Semitic symbols and inscriptions were discovered at Fort de Queleu in Moselle. A red and blue swastika and other symbols were painted on one of the signs in the camp.

During the Second World War, some 1,800 Jewish prisoners and opponents of the regime were incarcerated prior to their deportation to extermination camps.
