Man arrested after ‘giving Nazi salute and shouting abuse’ outside kosher supermarket
London – A man was arrested after allegedly performing a Nazi salute outside a kosher supermarket in Hendon on Sunday.
Shomrim, the volunteer orthodox neighbourhood security group, detained the man. They said he was shouting abuse outside Tapuach in Brent Street.
Police were called to the scene at around 3.20pm and arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of a religiously aggravated public order offence.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police told the JC: “He was taken to a west London police station. Following investigation, he was released with no further action.”
