An antisemitic attacker was convicted in Switzerland

The court in Switzerland convicted a Swiss neo-Nazi who attacked on July 4, 2015 an ultra-Orthodox Jew in a neighborhood with a large Jewish population near Zürich.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was attacked while on his way home from the synagogue on Friday night.
After making a Nazi salute and shouting anti-Semitic slogans, the attacker pushed the victim and spat in his face before the police arrived and could intervene.


The court in Switzerland sentenced the man to prison and to a US $ 1000 fine. The court also sentenced the attacker to pay the victim an amount of US $ 3,000.
