USA - Winooski police investigate antisemitic threat
City Manager Joshua Handverger said the threat came into Fire Chief David Bergeron's office.
The note called the recipient a "Jew-loving bastard" and said the recipient of the letter is the next one to go.
The note, unsigned, appeared to target Bergeron for his perceived support of Handverger, who is Jewish.

Ukraine - Orthodox Church spreads antisemitic propaganda
A Ukrainian reporter spotted antisemitic leaflets inside a Russian Orthodox cathedral affiliated with the Moscow
atriarchate in Kamenets-Podolsky, Ukraine.
Posters calling for a boycott of kosher products hang outside the city's Aleksandr Nevsky Cathedral. Inside the cathedral, a newspaper article is posted claiming that "kikes" were behind the creation of "Ukraine" (referred to with pejorative quotation marks, along with the term "Ukrainian language"). Supposedly, "kikes don't like the words Russia and Russians" so they created an artificial state called Ukraine to divide and weaken the Russian empire. Somehow, this Jewish conspiracy was behind both the Russian Revolution that brought the Communists to power in 1917 and the 2004
range Revolution, all in the service of brainwashing the nation in the service of the USA.

USA - Swastikas drawn on campaign posters
Swastikas were scrawled on campaign posters for a Jewish candidate running for the New York state Senate.
Three swastikas drawn in black marker on posters for veteran City Councilman Simcha Felder in the heavily Jewish Borough Park section of Brooklyn. Felder, a Democrat, is an Orthodox Jew.
A New York Police Department hate-crimes unit is investigating.

USA - Swastika painted on Jewish school
A Pleasant Valley School District employee arrived at work Friday morning and found a swastika painted on her office door. It is the second time this summer that such graffiti has appeared overnight at the school district-owned property at Ventura Boulevard and Elm Drive in Camarillo. The facility used to be Los Primeros Elementary School but now houses offices and Gan Camarillo Preschool, a Jewish school affiliated with Chabad of Camarillo. The preschool and its summer day camp, Gan Israel, rent two classrooms to accommodate about 30 students.
Eight other properties — some of them residences — were also hit with graffiti overnight, said Ventura County Sheriff's Department spokesman Ross Bonfiglio. The markings included swastikas and hate speech, he said, and one was a slur directed at African-Americans.

USA - Three charged with assault as hate crime
Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested three teens and charged with second-degree assault as a hate crime.
Charged were William Harrison, 18, of Livingston Manor, Sean Gadsen, 16, of Youngsville, and Matthew Alcivar, 17, of Queens.
One of the victims had been beaten so badly that police said he had fractures to his face.
Police said the attackers had shouted expletives and made reference to the victims being Jewish.

USA - Man says co-workers put on Hitler skit, dressed as Nazis
A Jewish Parks Department truck driver in claims he was subjected to antisemitic taunts by co-workers who put on a hateful skit in Nazi regalia.
The department is investigating the allegations and said the employees accused of taking part in the Hitler parody at a
Staten Island parkhouse may be disciplined.
Alan Spitalnik says he walked into a break room last Wednesday to see three tree pruners putting on the tasteless show for eight other workers.
"They just burst out laughing," one source said.
Two sources identified the employees as Nick Johnson, who allegedly wore a motorcycle helmet emblazoned with a swastika; Charlie Ekonomakos, said to have sported a Hitler-style mustache, and Chris Mullusky, described as wielding a flaming aerosol can.

Hungary - Israeli ambassador sees antisemitism on the rise in Hungary
Over the past year antisemitism has been on the rise in Hungary although both the governing and the opposition parties have been outspoken in opposing it, the Israeli Ambassador to Hungary told MTI.
“This is insufficient" Ambassador Aliza Bin-Noun said, "for they should be more emphatic in emphasizing that antisemitism is unacceptable. Nowadays a growing number of people seem to be making less and less of an effort to conceal their antisemitic views”, she added.
As concrete examples, the ambassador referred to the Hungarian Guard, a paramilitary arm of the radical right-wing Jobbik party, and to far-right statements published in certain dailies, on websites and voiced by TV channels.

Henryk M. Broder, a well known German Journalist, received an antisemitic letter. In the letter, the sender criticizes Broder for “what the Jews do to the Palestinians”. He goes on to compare the living situation of Palestinians to concentration camps and Jews to terrorists. He concludes that he is, and will remain, an antisemite and that he will “strictly boycott
verything Jewish”.
