Al-Qaeda threaten Tottenham over transfer of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid
Al-Qaeda’s Ahmed Al Dossari has reportedly issued a threatening statement to English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur over the possible transfer of Welsh international midfielder, Gareth Bale.
According to Calciomercato and later confirmed by various media reports in Abu Dhabi, Ahmed Al Dossari threatened Tottenham over the possible €120 million transfer of Bale because of their connection with the Jewish community in London and their desire to get the most in a transfer fee for the 24-year-old Player of the Year.
“Unscrupulous merchants. Jews who will be punished for their greed by the wrath of God and by the sound of arms.”
Tottenham have yet to respond to the comments and will likely not address such a threat, but it appears that the “World’s game” and the world record transfer fee has been heard the world over.
