Denunciations of antisemitism slowly fade away
Following the recent antisemitic attack in Berlin against a group of female students, Anneta Kahane, Head of the Amadeu Antonio fund, demands “a true political resolve to discuss the problems of antisemitism and racism”. In an interview she criticized the German policy regarding hatred of Jews. “The state should not restrict civil and social commitment. Instead it should finance educational projects for promoting tolerance. We are witnessing a slow fade-away of antisemitism denunciations like those that existed in Germany in the eighties and the nineties.”
