The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is promoting a book about Polish antisemitism. “This book enriches what others know about our country.”

According to the newspaper Rzeczpospolita, “the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has instructed Polish diplomatic representatives to promote Inferno of Choices, which is largely dedicated to the problem of Polish blackmailing and looting of Jewish assets during World War II.”

Marcin Bosacki, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, defended the book, “it is a collection of articles by well-known Polish historians, and includes material and documents from the “Polish Underground State” (originally without parentheses), which provide the historical context for the extermination of the Jews within German-occupied Poland.” Rzeczpospolita notes that five out of the seven essays in the book describe Poles rioting, looting, and blackmailing. Yet Bosacki says that the book “enriches what foreigners know about Poland's history.”
