Antisemitic graffiti on playground
Sleepy Hollow - A swastika was among several pieces of antisemitic graffiti spray-painted on tables and a building at a Sleepy Hollow park overnight.
Police discovered the vandalism early Wednesday morning. They believe one or more persons broke into a recreation building at DeVries Park, where they stole the yellow spray paint they used to scribble the hate messages, Sleepy Hollow Police Chief Gregory Camp said.
The graffiti includes "obscenities" and "racial drawings," Camp said.
"We would consider this a hate crime," Camp said.
