Swastikas spray-painted on Jewish houses in East Jerusalem
Jerusalem – two swastikas and several slanderous inscriptions in Arabic were spray-painted yesterday on houses of Jewish residents in the Hasmoneaon house in the East Jerusalem Muslim quarter. The police opened an investigation.
According to the apartment’s owner, the incident occurred in the course of last night. While the family was asleep, several Arab residents living in the Muslim quarter arrived and decided to spray the slanderous inscriptions on the house. “This is not the first time that incidents of vandalism take place, due to the fact that the Jewish family purchased houses in the Muslim quarter.” He said.
