Unknown persons climbed the synagogue’s gate and shouted Nazi-type slogans
Regensburg – two unknown persons dressed with capuchins entered the synagogue gate in Am Brixner Hof Street. It was reported that one of them was very short.
One of them climbed the entry gate and stood in the yard, while the other, who was standing outside, shouted racial, extreme right-type slogans. A passerby, who saw what was going on, informed the police about it. The two unknown persons managed to escape the scene. The Regensburg police opened an investigation on that same night.
The investigation focuses on the use of illegal organizations attributes and disturbance of the public order. Passersby or residents living near the synagogue who saw what happened that night are asked to contact the police by telephone - no.0941/5162888.
