White powder scare at North Dallas synagogue
Dallas - A hazardous materials team was checking out a white powder scare at Baruch HaShem synagogue in North Dallas Saturday morning.
Police said two men were seen scattering white powder on the parking lot and along the sidewalk of the religious center at 6304 Beltline Road; there are as many as seven of the mounds.
It has not been determined whether the powder poses any danger, but the area was cordoned off as the mounds were removed by personnel wearing protective suits for further analysis.
