Antisemitic attack at the Paris Métro
Paris – The National Bureau of Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism (BNVCA) has informed us that a violent antisemitic attack accompanied by curses occurred on line 5 of the Paris Métro, on May 14th, around 19:15 PM. A person of African origin attacked a Jewish pharmacist sitting within the train. He addressed him rudely with such slurs as: "scummy, fag, you are a Jew, did you see how you are dressed?" and went on insulting him and called him a "dirty Jew". He then hit him in his face and in his right ear. Among the many witnesses present at the scene, no one bothered to extend any help to the victim, and some of them had even giggled. When the victim caused the train to stop, the perpetrator of the crime ran away while shouting: "You've got no balls, dirty, scummy Jew… here you are in Paris, not in another place".
