Swastikas on Jewish Book-Shop
Geneva - Swastikas were discovered on the front of the book-shop called 'Menorah" in Hebrew, situated in front of the Malagnou Synagogue. When David Amar, who is in charge of the "Hechal Ha'Ness" Synagogue, arrived this morning, he clenched his fists when he saw the Nazi symbols." I was afraid to go into the Synagogue". Following an examination, the building did not appear to have been damaged, but the evil deed had been done.
The last place to have been vandalized is the shop situated on the corner of Krieg Boulevard. The shop manageress was in deep shock. "I discovered the filth as soon as we arrived". She summed it up by saying: "It is unbelievable that this is now happening in Switzerland. People spreading about these frightful things"
