Curses and threats in the course of a neighbors’ dispute
Jette – Mr. R.C. who lives in an apartment house located in the city of Jette has been since January 2011 the victim of threats via anonymous letters (about one letter per month). It all startd when he washed the floor of his balcony nd when his neighbor, Mr T. notified him tht he had dirtied his balcony. Later on R.C. apologized and even offered to wash his neighbor’ balcony. The latter refused and noted that he would complain to “a friend of his in the tenants’ committee.”
Prior to this quarrel there was no conflict between the neighbors. R.C. even remarked to T his ladino-Jewish origins. R.C.’s last R.C. received in his mail box a letter that read as follows:
“Dirty Jew, wi’ will force you to eat pork, together with the tenant’s committee we will see to it that you run away from here.
Later on he received additional letters, such as:
- “bastard, you are so dumb that you did not take into account my previous letters. Your friend that shits o you (remark: there is a drawing of a coffin with the word ‘Jew’). Your future grave, villain, a nice place for a good Jew”.
- All Jews are maniacs. You should all be exterminated. Watch out because in the next mail you’ll receive the bullet that will eliminate you and afterwards we will take care of your mother. The protector of real Belgians.”
In addition to the letters of threats R.C. also discovered three times next to his apartment door packages full of urine and feces.
