Thessaloniki - On the night of the 26th to the 27th of October, unknown perpetrator/s for the umpteenth time painted the side door of the Jewish Cemetery in the city of Thessaloniki. These days are days of national uplift, since on the 26th of October the city is commemorating its liberation day from the Turks on 1912. The 28th of October is also a day of national proud because it commemorates the refusal of the Greeks to surrender to Italy, during the II W.W. and it marks the entrance of Greece in the war.
A person responsible opens the cemetery every day from 8:00-14:00 (except Saturdays). There is no CCTV and any alarm system in the place. When the incident happened the cemetery was closed and there was no guard.
It writes "Dachau" and has a swastika next to it.
