Christian Dior fires John Galliano for antisemitic remarks
French fashion house Christian Dior says it is firing famed fashion designer John Galliano, following recent accusations of anti-Semitism.
Dior said Tuesday that the British designer has been immediately laid off, just a day after a video surfaced on the Internet showed the British designer drunkenly saying "I love Hitler."
"Today, because of the particularly odious nature of the behavior and words of John Galliano in a video made public this Monday, the Christian Dior house has decided to lay him off immediately and has begun firing procedures against him." the fashion house said in a statement.
